Our Charter
The FishHawk Road Runner's Club is commited to promoting running and fitness activities for runners of all ages and abilities in FishHawk Ranch and the surrounding communities through friendship, education and running events. We are a social club that loves to run.
 
 
History of Our Club

The FishHawk Road Runner’s Club was established in August 2004 amidst the four Tampa area Hurricanes of that year. We weathered the storms and today total over eighty members. Each of our members is assigned a number upon joining the club. We have a mentor program in place where are new members are assigned a current member to help them acclimate to the club.

The Road Runner’s welcome runners of all ages, abilities and skill levels.

Community Service and Charities

 

The FishHawk Road Runner's Club is proud of their efforts to give back to the local community. The Road Runners also support local and national charities.

The FishHawk Road Runner's Club annually participates in the "Relay For Life" to benefit the American Cancer Society. Last year the Relay Team raised over $5,700.

 

Club members have raised over $18,000 as part of "Team in Training" in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

 

The FishHawk Road Runners help organize and run the annual FishHawk Road Race. In 2007, the FishHawk Road Race raised over $30,000 for local area schools.
